About Our School

Holy Trinity School: A Legacy of Faith, Service, and Academic Excellence

Established in 1845, Holy Trinity School is a Catholic institution dedicated to fostering faith, service, and academic excellence. Serving over 550 students from preschool through 8th grade, the school has a long-standing tradition of nurturing a vibrant learning community.

In September 2020, Holy Trinity was honored with the National Blue Ribbon Award for academic excellence by the U.S. Department of Education, making it one of only 50 non-public schools nationwide and 16 schools in Ohio to receive this prestigious accolade. Holy Trinity’s commitment to high academic standards is evident, with 90% of its students scoring at or above grade level on standardized tests. Additionally, 85% of graduates attend Catholic high schools, with many earning scholarships.

Holy Trinity School provides a dynamic and differentiated instructional approach in reading, vocabulary, and math using Achieve 3000, Moby Max, Membean, and the Accelerated Reading Program. Enrichment and extra practice are further supported through programs such as XtraMath, IXL Math, IXL English, and typing.com.

Students in grades 2 and 3 who qualify can participate in enrichment classes in Math and English/Language Arts. For grades 4 through 8, the Achieve 3000 program helps students consistently achieve Lexile reading scores at or above grade level by measuring their reading comprehension of non-fiction texts. Junior high students who meet the criteria have the opportunity to advance their skills further by enrolling in advanced math courses, including Algebra in 8th grade.

Through its rigorous academic programs, faith-based education, and commitment to community service, Holy Trinity School continues to cultivate the spiritual, intellectual, and moral development of its students, preparing them to succeed in future academic pursuits and their personal lives.
