Holy Trinity School helped local Avon resident AJ Nagel in bringing essential supplies to those affected by the hurricane in North Carolina. Together, we collected 250 coats, bought 500 pairs of socks, and raised over $1,000 to help those in need.

Nagel is making a second trip this Wednesday and is continuing to collect supplies and donations at 3581 Stoney Ridge Road.

The most needed items include: hygiene products, baby formula, depends, extension cordds, tarps, ropes, inflatable mattresses, sleeping bags, propane tanks and space heaters.

Holy Trinity will be hosting a Disco Ball Gala, which will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at LaCentre in Westlake. Click on the photo to watch the HTS Class of 2024 incredible Lip Dub video, a highlight of this year's Catholic Schools Week celebrations.

This creative project features our enthusiastic 8th-grade students, who took the initiative to design and execute a vibrant and entertaining video. Their hard work and dedication are evident as they seamlessly integrate more than 500 students from various grades, showcasing the unity and dynamic spirit that defines our school community. The Lip Dub captures the lively energy and excitement of our students, reflecting the positive and supportive atmosphere at Holy Trinity.

Incorporating such a large number of participants was no small feat, but the 8th graders managed to coordinate and bring everyone together with great success. The video not only highlights the talents and creativity of our students but also serves as a memorable way to conclude Catholic Schools Week. It stands as a testament to the strong bonds and sense of community fostered at Holy Trinity, where every student plays a vital role in creating an inclusive and joyous environment. This Lip Dub will undoubtedly be remembered as a fun and unifying experience for all involved, leaving a lasting impression on the Holy Trinity family.

Last year, generous donations to the Angel Scholarship Fund (ASF) amounted to an inspiring $130,000, providing financial relief to all 92 students who applied at Holy Trinity School (HTS). These funds were instrumental in reducing tuition costs and ensuring that all students have access to faith-based education.

The ASF offers a unique opportunity to direct a portion of your Ohio state income taxes towards supporting HTS students. It's important to emphasize that this goes beyond a mere deduction—it's a tax credit! Every dollar donated translates into a dollar-for-dollar reduction in your state taxes owed, with a cap of up to $750 for a single tax filer, or $1,500 for a married couple filing jointly.

It's essential to recognize the profound impact of the ASF, especially in light of the existence of Ed Choice funding. While Ed Choice provides substantial assistance, some families may not qualify for significant support. The ASF serves as a vital supplemental resource for Holy Trinity. Our dream goal would be to reduce parent obligation to $0.

With over 250 families in our school and 2200 households in our parish the sky's the limit.  To donate to the ASF you can click on this ASF logo and select Holy Trinity - Avon - #54.

Thank you for your continued support of HTS and your child(ren)'s Catholic education!
