EdChoice Expansion Scholarship is a scholarship offered by the state of Ohio. Even though it is an income based scholarship, every Ohio resident qualifies for at least $616 per student regardless of income level.  There is no income ceiling.  Parents are required to complete income verification to determine the amount. The scholarships are renewable each year.

EdChoice Traditional Scholarship is a scholarship offered by the state of Ohio that is based on residency (residing in a failing school district)  Parents are not required to submit their income verification for this scholarship but must prove residency.


Cleveland Scholarship is a scholarship offered by the state of Ohio, and is for families that reside in Cleveland Municipal School District only. Parents are not required to submit their income verification for this scholarship but must prove residency.

Catholic Diocese of Cleveland Scholarships

Other scholarships are available to families who apply through FACTS Grant and Aid. This tuition assistance program encompasses the Angel Scholarship and Diocesan Tuition Assistance. Now that EdChoice covers families with the greatest need, more families are benefiting from these parish and diocese scholarships. 

 

Angel Scholarship Fund is a Tax Credit Scholarship program through the State of Ohio that allows families to turn their tax dollars into tuition assistance for students in the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland.

 

Diocesan Tuition Assistance is a need-based tuition assistance program. It is based on a family's demonstrated financial need.

Bishops' Scholarship for Excellence

The Catholic Education Endowment Trust (CEET) was established in 1976 by the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland to promote Catholic education, provide support for religious programs, and to offer tuition aid and scholarships to families with financial need who desired a Catholic education for their children. As part of this initiative, CEET started the Bishops’ Scholarship to encourage Excellence in Catholic education.

Ten (10) $3,500 High School Scholarships

Twenty (20) $1,200 Elementary School scholarships - Students in grades 6th thru 8th may apply
