Background & Interests: Mrs. Akosi is passionate about teaching in a Catholic faith-based environment, where she serves as a positive role model for her students. She values the opportunity to shape young minds, guiding them not only academically but also in their personal and spiritual growth. Her commitment to fostering strong moral values and a love for learning is at the heart of her teaching philosophy.


Believing in the power of innovative instruction, Mrs. Akosi continuously challenges her students through differentiation and engaging, hands-on learning experiences. She strives to bring history to life with project-based lessons that make learning both interactive and meaningful. By encouraging curiosity and critical thinking, she helps students develop a deeper understanding of the past and its connections to the present.


Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Akosi and her family are active members of St. Joseph Parish in Amherst. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons, Luke and Easton, especially watching them play baseball. An avid fan of the outdoors and a good book, she also shares a passion for Cleveland sports. Her enthusiasm for learning, faith, and family shines through in everything she does!
