Saint Baldrick's Event

Holy Trinity has Raised More than $200K

for Pediatric Cancer Research

Holy Trinity held its 8th annual St. Baldrick's event on Thursday, May 23rd raising $21,173 for cancer research. Students, faculty, families and Avon community members participated with 37 shavees and 6 ponytail donations during this awesome event. For those who preferred not to shave, a braiding station was available, allowing students to donate and show their support by having their hair braided. The Krisanda family took the lead in fundraising teams collecting $3,612 in donations. Many courageous girls, parents, and teachers also donated their ponytails to make wigs for children fighting cancer. Over the past eight years, Holy Trinity has raised more than $200,000 for pediatric cancer research and shaved over 500 heads. We are grateful to the entire Avon Catholic Community for supporting this annual event!
